The Burton Complex is committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for all guests. All guests shall remain respectful and courteous to their fellow patrons and comply with requests from Burton Staff, emergency response procedures and behavior which impacts the event experience of fellow spectators.

 

The Burton Team values the support of all guests and reserves the right to eject any guests for any reason, which includes not treating other guests attending the event with dignity and respect.

 Cameras and Recording Devices

The permitted use of cameras varies by event. Cameras with professional lenses and flash attachments are prohibited from the Burton Complex without the expressed written consent of Management. Digital cameras are permitted, however no video formats (mpegs, mp4, avi, etc.) will be permitted. Recording devices, both audio and visual are not permitted in any facility of the Burton Complex. Cameras will be permitted for Graduation Ceremonies.

 

Prohibited Items

The following items are not permitted in any facility of the Burton Complex:

• Backpacks and large bags are not permitted. All items brought into the Burton Coliseum are subject to a security search
• Bottles or cans
• Food and drink purchased outside
• Coolers
• Frisbees and/or beach balls
• Laser pointers
• Any noise making devices, specifically air horns with sirens, whistles
• Fireworks
• Illegal drugs and alcohol
• Weapons and dangerous devices of any type
• Contraband Items: Guests found in possession of contraband items will be subject to expulsion from the facility and the contraband items confiscated
• Megaphones and Voice Amplification devices
• And any other items that may pose a threat to the security of the event as determined by and at the discretion of the security screeners.

 

Disabled Patron Services

Accessible Entrances:

Accessible Entrances are located at all entrances of the Burton Coliseum.

 

Accessible Restrooms:

Accessible Restrooms are located throughout the Coliseum. Restrooms are accessible in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

 

Accessible Seating:

Accessible seating is located throughout the facility in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Accessible seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

Animals:

Animals are not permitted in the Burton Coliseum or any other facility. Exceptions include guide, sign and signal dogs to aid Guests with disabilities.

 

Parking:

Disabled Parking is available around the perimeter of the Burton Coliseum. Please note: Spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

Disorderly Conduct/Ejections

Disruptive and problem Guests should be reported to an usher or event staff personnel immediately. Ejected Guests must vacate the Burton Complex property.

 

Guests who fail to abide by Complex policies, state and federal law are subject to ejection from the facility. Guests in violation of a Complex policy will be asked to correct their behavior, if they fail to do so in a timely fashion ejection will occur.

 

Guns/Weapons

Guests are prohibited from bringing weapons/firearms of any kind into any area of the Burton Complex.

 

Intoxicated Guests

Intoxicated Guests are not admitted into any Burton Complex facility at any time. If you see an intoxicated person enter a facility, please contact building security. Intoxicated Guests are subject to ejection from the event. Persons denied entry into the facility would be offered a full refund from the Burton Complex box office.

 

Guest Appearance

Patrons entering a Burton Complex facility must be properly attired with shoes and a shirt, unless otherwise permitted by the expressed consent of Management. These items must be worn at all times in the facility.

 

Projectiles

The throwing of projectiles inside any Burton Complex facility is prohibited.

 

Drones / Unmanned Aircraft Systems and/or Vehicles

For the safety and privacy of our guests, spectators, tenants, promoters, and property, the use and operation of Drones/UAS/UAV are prohibited in and over our airspace, in our parking lots, roadways, properties owned, leased, occupied, or managed by the Burton Complex, and surrounding areas. 

 

Re-Entry

All Burton Complex facilities have a no re-entry policy.

 

Smoking

All Burton Coliseum Complex facilities are smoke free.  This includes electronic cigarettes. Smoking is not allowed in the public areas of the Burton Complex by any Guest or employee. This is not only a Burton Complex policy; it is the law.

 

Ticket Scalping 

Selling of tickets on Burton Coliseum Complex property is strictly prohibited and violators will be prosecuted.
